In addition to the Investment Code, Côte d'Ivoire has established several sectoral codes to regulate and structure activities in key sectors of its economy. These codes include the Mining Code, the Public Procurement Code, the Electricity Code, the Environmental Code, the Domestic Transport Code, the Construction and Housing Code, the Urban Planning and Urban Land Code, the Rural Land Code, the Water Code, the Petroleum Code, the Labor Code, the Code on the Marketing of Coffee and Cocoa and Regulation of the Coffee-Cocoa Sector, the Hygiene and Sanitation Code, the Telecommunications Code, the Craft Code, the Forestry Code, the Tourism Code, the General Tax Code, the Customs Code, and the Maritime Code. Each of these codes regulates specific aspects of economic activity and requires consultation of the official legal texts for a detailed understanding.
Public Procurement Code
The public procurement sector is governed by Ordinance No. 2019-679 of July 24, 2019.
Electricity Code
The electricity sector is governed by Law No. 2014-132 of March 24, 2014.
Environmental Code
The environmental sector in Côte d'Ivoire is governed by Law No. 2023-900 of November 23, 2023, establishing the Environmental Code.
Construction and Housing Code
The construction and housing sector in Côte d'Ivoire is governed by Law No. 2019-576 of June 26, 2019 establishing the Construction and Housing Code.
