The Béré Region is located in the Center-North of Côte d'Ivoire and is subdivided into three (03) Departments: Mankono (Capital), Kounahiri, and Dianra. It covers an area of 13,293 km², which is 4.12% of the national territory.

• Mankono, the capital of the region, is a Local Economic Connector (a small town that is at an embryonic stage of urbanization facilitating internal economies of scale, such as hosting a large company that processes local agricultural products) with an agricultural focus, dominated by cashew and cotton crops (Study on the Competitive Economic Pole Development Program - PEC, 2018). It has a subsoil rich in gold, diamonds, copper, nickel, and manganese.
• An industrial zone exists in the Mankono department with an industrial land reserve of 121 hectares (MCIPPME, 2022);
• Financial sector: 03 microfinance institutions are established there.
• Mobile network coverage (July 2023): 88.26% of localities and 93.45% of the population are covered;

• Health: The health infrastructure in the region includes most of the technical platforms.
