The Cavally Region is located in the West of Côte d'Ivoire and is subdivided into four (04) Departments: Guiglo (Capital), Bloléquin, Touleupleu, and Taï. It covers an area of 11,310 km2, which is 3.5% of the national territory.

• Guiglo, the capital of the region, is a Local Economic Connector (a small town that is at an embryonic stage of urbanization facilitating internal economies of scale, such as hosting a large company that processes local agricultural products) that has an essentially agricultural vocation (Study on the Competitive Economic Pole Development Program - PEC, 2018). The main agricultural products are rice, yam, cocoa, and coffee. 
• An industrial zone exists housing industrial units with an industrial land reserve of 36 ha (MCIPPME, 2022) ; 
• Mobile network coverage (July 2023): 96.35% of localities and 98.28% of the population are covered. 
• Health: The health infrastructure in the region covers most of the technical platforms.

• Agro-industry: a rubber processing factory (Cavally Rubber Company - CHC in Zagné) ; 

• Wood industry: a wood factory (THANRY in Guiglo) ; 

• Tourism: Taï National Park with its biodiversity (classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site), classified forests and nature reserves, mountain ranges.
