The N’Zi Region is located in the Central-East of Côte d'Ivoire and is subdivided into three (03) Departments: Dimbokro (Capital), Bocanda, and Kouassi-kouassikro. It covers an area of 19,560 km2, which is 6.09% of the national territory.

- Dimbokro, the capital of the region, is a Secondary Economic Connector (a city that has reached an intermediate stage of urbanization facilitating localization economies through competition among businesses in the same sector) with an industrial focus centered around the textile sector (Study on the Competitive Economic Pole Development Program - PEC, 2018). Additionally, Dimbokro is an agricultural area.
- An industrial zone exists in the Dimbokro department with a land reserve of 212 ha (MCIPPME, 2022).
- Financial sector: 03 commercial banks and 02 microfinance institutions are established there.
- Mobile network coverage (July 2023): 96.56% of localities and 97.49% of the population are covered.
- Health: The health infrastructure in the region includes most of the technical platforms.

As part of the implementation of the National Development Plan (PND) 2021-2025, the N’Zi Region is included in the area covered by the Agro-pole "Academic and Transformation Pole" (Agro-pole 4).
Investment opportunities exist in the following sectors:
- Agriculture: Creation of agropastoral farms or financing of agricultural projects, establishment of eco-training agropastoral farms, investments in the development of food crop sectors (Yam, Rice, Cassava), cash crop sectors (Cocoa, Coffee, Cashew) and the processing of these agricultural products.
- Industry: Textile or resumption of textile industry activities.
- Agro-industry: Processing unit for Cashew nuts, Rubber, and Cassava.
- Mining Resources: The region has a rich mining potential with deposits of Bauxite and Gold.
