Agreements and Conventions
Cooperation between Côte d'Ivoire and the United Arab Emirates is marked by the signing of several agreements and numerous mutual official visits.
On November 25, 2021, in Dubai, Côte d'Ivoire signed several agreements:
Agreement on the Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Investments
Convention to Avoid Double Taxation and Prevent Tax Evasion on Income Tax
Agreement on Air Services
Additionally, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Côte d'Ivoire Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Cci-CI) and the Dubai International Chamber on November 20, 2023, in Abidjan.
These agreements aim to enhance and further strengthen investments and trade relations between both parties.
Furthermore, the United Arab Emirates submitted a draft Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement to Côte d'Ivoire in June 2023, which is still under discussion.

B. Main Imported Products: Electrical and mechanical machines, iron and cast iron, construction materials and food products, medical-surgical furniture, bedding, spices.

The value of bilateral trade reached 121.8 billion FCFA in 2023, compared to 159.2 billion FCFA in 2022.
Over the period 2019-2023, the average value of Ivorian exports is estimated at 42.4 billion FCFA per year, compared to 60 billion FCFA per year for imports.
Over the period 2019-2023, the trade balance has been in deficit for Côte d'Ivoire, except in 2021, when it was in surplus.
