Furthermore, 12 new agreements were concluded on Thursday, August 1, 2024, in Abidjan between Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal following the 10th session of the Ivorian-Senegalese Joint Commission. These agreements cover various sectors, including the economy, justice, youth, agriculture, livestock, and communication.
A. Main Exports from Côte d'Ivoire to Senegal: Various food preparations; edible fruits; citrus peels or melon rinds; plastics and articles thereof; essential oils and resinoids; perfumery, cosmetic, or toilet preparations, etc.
B. Main Imports from Senegal to Côte d'Ivoire: Fish and crustaceans, mollusks, and other aquatic invertebrates; salt; sulfur; earths and stones; plasters, lime, and cement; manufactured tobacco and tobacco substitutes, with or without nicotine.

The value of bilateral trade reached 247.9 billion FCFA in 2023, compared to 228.5 billion FCFA in 2022.
Over the period 2019-2023, the average value of Ivorian exports is estimated at 105.58 billion FCFA per year, compared to 107.4 billion FCFA per year for imports.
The trade balance was in deficit for Côte d'Ivoire from 2019 to 2021, but became surplus starting in 2022.
