Agreements and Conventions
- Agreement establishing an Ivorian-Nigerian Joint Grand Commission signed on March 2, 2013, in Abidjan during the State visit of H.E. Mr. Goodluck Ebélé Jonathan, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria;
- Agreement on economic, scientific and technical cooperation, signed in Yamoussoukro on June 25, 1987 and ratified by both (02) countries.
- Seven (07) cooperation agreements were signed in July 2013, during the first session of the Joint Grand Commission held in Lagos, Nigeria:
- Cooperation Agreement on the fight against crime;
- Agreement on Cultural, Educational and Scientific Cooperation;
- Memorandum of Understanding in the field of industry;
- Cooperation Agreement in the field of higher education and scientific research;
- Cooperation Agreement in the field of tourism;
- Trade Cooperation Agreement;
- Cooperation Agreement to Combat Child Trafficking in West Africa, signed on July 27, 2005;
- Air Service Agreement between the two countries, signed on December 10, 1976 in Lagos;
- Air Transport Agreement, signed on July 18, 1964 in Abidjan.
- 9 agreements signed on the occasion of the Great Joint Commission held on November 6 and 7, 2021 in Abidjan, the agreements cover, among other things, military cooperation, civil protection and technical assistance, consular issues and migration, the digital economy...
A project directly related to the two (02) countries, namely the Abidjan-Lagos Corridor Trade and Transport Facilitation Project (PFCTAL) has benefited from the financial support of two (02) major international partners : the World Bank and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Main Imports of Cote d’Ivoire from Nigeria: : The imports of Cote d’Ivoire in quantities all kinds of products from Nigeria These include, inter alia, mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous materials Tobacco and tobacco substitutes manufactured, Miscellaneous products of the chemical industries, Machinery, mechanical appliances and appliances, nuclear reactors, boilers; parts thereof, Electrical machinery, appliances and equipment and parts thereof; recording devices etc.

- Over the period 2018-2022, the average value of Ivorian exports is estimated at 92.96 billion of CFAF /year against 883.6 billion of CFAF /year for imports;
