Agreements and Conventions

Cooperation between the two countries remains very limited. The existing agreement between them concerns vocational training.

However, both countries maintain close relations within international organizations, particularly in the free trade zone, the Francophonie, and the African Union.

A. The main exported products are: plastics and articles made from these materials.

B. The main imported products are: furniture; medical-surgical furniture; bedding and similar items; lighting fixtures and appliances.

  • The value of bilateral trade has declined significantly, dropping from 21.35 billion FCFA in 2022 to 400 million FCFA in 2023.
